I am learning to make a rhyming string (car, far - sat, fat, cat - word families).

"Today we thought of words that rhyme with 'look', and they were: book, shook, took and cook. I know that looking at the pictures helps me read the words. I am good at reading the words.  Some of the big words are hard for me.  Mrs Wyatt, Mum and Dad help me to read."

Monday, 13 August 2018

I am learning to write my idea in a sentence that makes sense.

"It is easy to write the day, and it is easy to do finger spaces and the full stops. It is hard to do exclamation marks, and it is hard to sound out some of the big words.  Mrs Wyatt helps me with my writing."

I am learning to solve addition problems by counting the objects.

"I have been learning to count the objects to get the right answer.  The plus is easy, and the take away is a bit tricky. I like using the counters. Mrs Wyatt, Mum and Dad help me to do Maths."
